This piece is an exploration of my inner journey as an artist, it draws inspiration from the resilient paperbark tree. Just like the tree's ability to withstand adversity, this textural mixed media piece reflects the challenges I face as an artist in my quest for authenticity.

The textures and warm colors speak of resilience and growth. Each brushstroke mirrors my journey, as I push past self-criticism to create works that truly engage the viewer. Each layer, echoing layers of tension, joy and emotion that come with the creative process.

Just as the paperbark tree bends but does not break, this artwork captures the beauty found in the struggle, inviting viewers to connect with their own inner resilience and authenticity.
